We are fortunate to be comprised of an impressive, dedicated, capable team of deeply committed, skilled, and inspiring people who choose to lend their talents to our purpose every day. Like most Employee Spotlight campaigns, the goal is to highlight a team member for who they are and what they do. However, our goal is a little different; we’d like to share the global stage with people who call Credico their work home.

Our next featured employee is Blake Kopach, Inventory Manager at Credico (USA) LLC! He talks about the excitement of new challenges, staying curious, and his lifelong dedication to the Detroit Lions.

What do you do at our company?
I work in IT as the Inventory Control Manager and admin of several of the company’s core enterprise systems and CRMs, such as Salesforce, Fresh Service, Monday.com, and Formstack.

What brought you to want to work in technology?
I’ve always been fascinated by how technology can solve complex problems and transform industries. I believe technology is not just about the tools we use but about how we use them to improve people’s lives and create efficiencies that drive change

How long have you worked at Credico?
I have worked at Credico for just over seven years now.

What has been your favorite project so far?
So far, one of my favorite projects has been working on getting Salesforce up and running for Premier Secure Insurance. It was an exciting challenge to help streamline their processes and ensure their team could leverage Salesforce to its full potential.

From customizing the platform to fit their unique needs to training their staff on how to use it effectively, every step was rewarding. It was a great opportunity to collaborate with a dedicated team and contribute to improving how they manage customer relationships and drive business growth. The success of this project has been one of the highlights of my time here, and it’s been incredibly satisfying to see the impact it’s had on their operations.

I’m proud to have been part of such a transformative initiative, and I look forward to continuing to work on projects that make a meaningful difference.

Can you take us through a day in the life for you at Credico?
My primary responsibility is overseeing the purchase and distribution of tablets to all of the independent sales offices across Credico. This means staying on top of inventory levels, ensuring we have the proper devices in stock, and coordinating shipments to ensure our teams have the tools they need to succeed. In addition to inventory management, I’m also an admin for several Salesforce projects involving customizing workflows, reporting, and ensuring that the platform supports our sales teams most effectively.

I also manage Freshservice, where I handle IT support and service requests, and Formstack, where I create reports, forms, and automated workflows to streamline processes across the company.

What do you like most about working at Credico?
My favorite part about working at Credico is the fast-paced environment where every day presents a new challenge. I also love being part of the IT team. Our team has worked together for over six years, which is very rare nowadays, but our long-standing collaboration makes tackling challenges that much more rewarding.

What travel destinations are you looking forward to visiting in the next few years?
I recently spent a week in Aruba, and it was amazing. Getting out of the cold and into the sunshine for a week of relaxing, snorkeling, and fun was just what I needed.

Japan, however, is number one on my travel destination bucket list.

What are some songs that have a permanent spot on your playlist?
I wouldn’t say there are any specific songs that have a permanent spot on my playlist, but I love early 2000s rap music, so all of my playlists will have some mix of 50 Cent or Ludacris, as they are still my favorites.

Can you share the best career or life advice you’ve received?
The best career advice I’ve ever received was to “never stop learning and stay adaptable.”

Early in my career, someone told me that the world of work is constantly changing, and the key to success is being open to new opportunities and continuously improving your skills.

Whether it’s picking up a new technical skill, seeking out feedback, or just staying curious, being adaptable has allowed me to grow in ways I never anticipated.

If you could have dinner with anyone (and we mean anyone), who would it be and why?
If I could have dinner with anyone, I would choose Brad Holmes, the General Manager of the Detroit Lions. I am a lifelong Lions fan, and although the Lions fell short in a heartbreaking fashion a few weeks ago, Brad’s job in building up the roster and turning the franchise around has been outstanding. So I would like to personally thank him for that and offer up some suggestions for the Lions in free agency and the draft to get them over the hump next year.
